2023 has been a very interesting year. The gaming industry has been going through a very tricky time, with a lot of upheaval. Our own focus on gaming remained the same and we noticed a large uptick in the focus and prioritisation given to games’ security and stability. We grew in our clientele, have garnered a larger volume of work from huge names in the industry, and pursued a growing culture to match our expansion.
Sales and Strategy for 2023
In 2023, we maintained our focus on gaming as always. However, we also decided to push out in another direction to take advantage of growing interest in the sector of SaaS and enterprise in the corporate sector. Any company looking to build their own SaaS platform were our target. We’re delighted to say it was a very successful venture!Cyrex has been building and growing at a great rate, especially in the new vertical of the SaaS targets. We’ve had the opportunity to work with a range of new clients and industries all utilising the SaaS model. From healthcare to financial and fintech platforms, ecommerce, CRM, we had many successful collaborations on a variety of fantastic products. Conceptually, they were unique but at their core, we had the common denominator perfected. It meant we could go in with a high-quality offering that also provided adaptability and flexibility to each and every client. We’re very proud of our team in the success they’ve achieved.
Marketing and Reputation
Our enterprise and entertainment offerings are two distinct pillars but as a whole, we’ve been thrilled at the recognition in the industry and among clients of our full offering. Through decks and our website, we’ve established a strong, segmented display that can deliver a clear picture to potential and existing clients at our complete service offering.This past year has also been great in cementing our team as a dominating presence in the video game penetration testing and load testing landscapes. Word of mouth on our expertise and skill is being spread between previous, existing, and potential new clients. This past year has seen meaningful and tight relationships being formed with many new clients and that level of trust being communicated with their peers and partners. As our testimonials explode past 50(!), we’ve been blown away by the messages and comments being left by our partners and previous collaborators.
How has Cyrex Grown in the Past Year?
It’s been a great year for our team’s growth. Our team has maintained a strong size and we’ve taken on a few talented folks to keep up with the growing requirements. We’ve also expanded our offerings into multiple new verticals which has meant a fantastic resilience and scalability against a changing or slowing market. Year on year, we’ve seen our growth match the expansion. Our revenue and profits are up from last year, and in the gaming world we’re now working with almost every giant in the industry.Amazon, Tencent, EA, Warner Bros., and more! We’ve a few huge names that we’re working with behind the scenes that we can’t just mention yet but we’re incredibly proud of our team in achieving this level of growth. The Cyrex portfolio is something we’re beaming over as it expands to developers and publishers known worldwide.
Finally, these past few years have seen us shift from irregular project-based work to now regular, recurring engagements. Both at a higher volume and more consistently, this year has been great for showing our partners and organisations we’re talking to of the continuous value creation in working with us.
Awareness in the Industry
One of our key goals is to educate and increase awareness in every digital industry of the value and necessity of proper investment in security and stability. While we’ve seen it on the rise, 2023 has been an inspirational year for this awareness. At Cyrex, we’ve seen a spike in proactivity in those considering and using our services.Alongside this, we’ve seen a huge increase in the attraction to our studio. We’ve had a staggering increase in applications and those soliciting work with us. It’s been fantastic and very rewarding to have such interest in our team and our work. Finding the right talent for this very specific industry can be challenging so it’s been incredible having all of these talented engineers seek us out.
2023 and Cyrex Culture
We worked hard to maintain and grow the Cyrex culture of learning and innovation. One highlight was a fun meet up with the entire Cyrex group in Istanbul! End to end it was filled with industry workshops, casual chats, and plenty of group hangouts just to spend some time together as a team.We did a similar event with some of our clients at a private resort! An opportunity to get together, get to know each other, and get the two teams familiar with one another face to face and individually! It was a phenomenal experience and a great trip.
Wrapping Up the Wrap Up
We’ve a few highlights to mention as we wrap things up officially for this year.- Our SME Wallet Certification, allowing us to offer discounts to a specific group on our home terf.

- On our development front, we’ve been working on a plethora of gaming titles, developing parts of their backend.
