Cyrex partnered with NYAN Heroes to secure and scale its Solana-based play-and-earn ecosystem, delivering smart contract validation, staking platform support, NFT pack drop security, and marketplace load testing.

The Challenge

Securing NFT Drops and Scaling a Solana Play-and-Earn Ecosystem

NYAN Heroes is a AAA third-person shooter built on the Solana blockchain, combining battle royale gameplay with NFT ownership and tokenized rewards. Players pilot Guardian Mechs, explore biomes, and earn $CTNP tokens through in-game activity.

Ahead of NFT pre-sales and marketplace activity, the platform faced two critical risks:

  • Smart contract and staking infrastructure vulnerabilities that could impact NFT integrity and token flows.
  • Scalability under heavy traffic, particularly during limited NFT pack drops where demand spikes are expected.

Web3 launches, especially NFT drops, introduce concurrency pressure and transactional risk simultaneously. A weakness in contract logic or marketplace infrastructure during a high-traffic event can compromise both performance and user trust.

NYAN Heroes required validation across staking systems, NFT drop mechanics, and marketplace scalability before public release.

Marketplace Load Testing

In parallel, Cyrex conducted structured load testing on the marketplace infrastructure.
